Lets take a look ahead to the Sunday final of the 2016 European Championship in France

UEFA, European football’s governing body, elected to expand the competition to 24 teams attracted criticism in the weeks that followed but their decision has allowed a host of romantic fables to unfold - such as those told by Iceland and Wales.

England’s exit was as disheartening as it was predictable for their fans but, despite security fears and the threat of hooliganism rearing their head at the beginning of the competition, France 2016 has since become the festival of football that is always promised to be.

When is the final - and when does it start?

Portugal vs France will kick-off in Paris at 8pm GMT. The Stade de France has a capacity of 81,338.
